31) How do voters in presidential primaries differ significantly from those who vote in general elections?

1. Voters in primaries tend to be younger and of lower socio-economic status than voters in general elections.
2. Voters in primaries tend to be more moderate than those who vote in general elections.
3. Because there are fewer polling placing in primaries, voters tend to be from more highly populated areas in primaries than in general elections.
4. They do not differ at all.
5. Voters in primaries tend to be activists, and thus represent the "base" of the party.  They are, therefore, more liberal or more conservative than voters in general elections.
