I''m not sure, but if you look up "What scores make you eligable for college?" on ask.com you might find some results.

It depends on the college you want to apply to. For example, if you want to go to an Ivy League school, you should have at least 2000 out of 2400. But, if you want to go to an average school, you may try to get at least 1500 out of 2400. But, it still depends. If you are an international student, like me for example, they are more tolerant as I have the TOEFL to back up.

For colleges, they don't ONLY look at scores. Because frankly, there is no way to study for the SAT.

Unless you're going to an Ivy League school, for which you would probably want to at least score in the 90th percentile in everything.(high 600s). Stupid 10 points!!!
