I think that the scoring may vary by state, but this is how it is in Louisiana. I got this off of the Louisiana Dept. of Education. The minimum passing requirements for the GED Practice and the Official GED Test are standard scores of 410 on each of five subtests and an overall average standard score of 450 on all five tests.
http://www.louisianaschools.net/lde/family/525.html

It takes a 2250 and min of 410 on each test. You had a 2200 core and 400 on math ,so no you would not pass.

No, sorry. It requires a minimum of 410 on each subject. Respectfully, you failed.

Jessmo, it all depends on where you live. The best way to find out the costs and policies for taking the test in your area is to get in contact with your local GED testing center.

Here's a Wikipedia article if it's any help:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GED#Cost

No you didn't pass you are 50 points from passin. It really isn't fair because you really did good on all parts but you really need to take at least two more parts over to be able to pass. the best thing to do would be to go back and take the math and another subject that you got the lowest score on.
