You know what ?Taking the GED is not hard and its the easiest exam to be taken if you''ve been studying and going to classes. The only difference between the old and the new tests is just the scoring. If you score 50 another 0 will be added to make it 500 and all you need is 450 on the exams.I wish you luck and do not be afraid cause everything in it is easy.Study hard to make OPT cause that only allows you take the main exam (GED).Goodluck

Hi guys (for GED ppl),
Yesterday I completed one part of the exam. You just have to prepare for the exam. Its a bit hard, but if you study you''ll get through. Mostly the questions are based on common sense. Take care and good luck.

i took my GED not too long ago i did not attend classes except for 5 if even that and you really just need to work on things that your having a little struggle in which your pre-tests will show you... on each test you mucst obtain an average of 45 to pass there are 5 test and you usally get the choice to take all tests in one say or split between 2 days... i did the two day gig and i seriously suggest that. You must score a 225 or higher to pass i dont know where the 500 came from but if you take your time and concentrate and try not to get too worked up youll do just fine i promise.... good luck...

you know what guys?scoring the GED differs from the state in which you are sitting for it.Since the year began my state has been scoring 450 instead of the 45 its still ok i think. But i want to ask u guys something,if i want to get into college do i need to take the GED can someone tell me because the GED is scored same as the SAT and the GED students doesnt have a code number to register for the SAT.Most Universities i applied for asked for my SAT and still ask for my GED as well.If anyone has encountered same problem as i do please email me or just post ur repply here i will get it.I;l appreciate and thanks a lot guys bye all

Listen the test really ain't that hard cuz my older sister passed it and she isn't that smart. You need to focus on the weaknesses you have. The fields your struggling in. Then you'll do great.
