Verbal Reasoning

MCAT Verbal Reasoning is a challenging reading comprehension test. During the test, you'll read a passage and answer a set of questions about it. The passages are drawn from scholarly writing in the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences. And while you don't technically need to know anything to do well on VR, you will need to be a practiced and self-confident reader and test-taker to earn a competitive score. What's more, training to do well on Verbal may actually help you excel in medical school down the road. As a med student, you'll be reading a lot and coping with new jargon—a similar experience to what MCAT Verbal Reasoning throws at you.
